We all have faced the disappointment of losing a job, or being passed over for a promotion.  <\/span>When (not if) these events happen we are left exposed and fearful.  <\/span>If you know what I know, then you\u2019ll know that these circumstances can refine you\u2026just like gold.  <\/span>Remember, refining means there will be fire, and fire is painful.  <\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The trick is, do we have a vision apart from the organization and circumstance.  <\/span>If you don\u2019t, you\u2019re in for a wild ride of emotions.  <\/span>If you do, then you should be able to see the event as directional in nature.  <\/span>Like a field guide telling you to go around the ridge.  <\/span>Understanding the directional aspect brings clarity and focus.  <\/span>Get a vision!<\/span><\/p>\n

Consider the following (if you\u2019re encountering job related disappointment):<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

1.      <\/span><\/span><\/span>Pray<\/p>\n

2.      <\/span><\/span><\/span>Don\u2019t make any agreements based on what you feel (emotions will tell you to take the event personally).  <\/span>Let go of the wheel and check your vision.<\/p>\n

3.      <\/span><\/span><\/span>Recognize that you\u2019ve been designed, so trust the Designer to reveal the next steps.<\/p>\n

4.      <\/span><\/span><\/span>Seek input from trusted advisors.<\/p>\n

5.      <\/span><\/span><\/span>Great things are ahead, let them happen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
